I've been thinking about this most of this month. I need to change a lot about myself and I need to do things that make me happy.
For 2009, I set the goals of:
-- Feeling better about my body.
I have let myself seriously go and weigh more than I did before I got pregnant with Midget. That has to change as I'm tired of only having 1 pair of jeans that fit! Here's how I plan to do it:
- Keeping a food/workout log
- Work out at least 15 minutes, 4 times a day (or a total of 1 hour per day)
- Drink more water
- Limit my sugary drinks to 1 per day (total of 12 oz... which is equal to 1 can of Dr Pepper)
- Cook dinner from scratch at least 4 times a week
- Eat more fruits and veggies
- Eat smaller portions
Each week I will pick 1 room to work on. Every day, I will complete 1 task in that room that will help declutter and/or organize that room more efficiently. (Some rooms may require more than 1 week to complete.)
-- Take at least 10 photos a day of different things.
I have not been taking photos hardly at all any more. I'm losing confidence in my abilities. I will aim to post 1 photo a day--here on my blog--whether it's good or bad. (Preferably they will all be good! *chuckle*)
-- Finish at least 1 small crochet project a week (hats, scarfs, mittens, etc).
-- Finish 1 medium crochet project a month (baby blankets, lapghans, purses, shawls, etc).
-- Finish 3 large crochet projects for gifts (large afghans).
There are my goals. I challenge anyone who reads this to come up with some goals for yourself that will not only make you a better person, but a happier one as well! *smile*
