My lovely friend Heather has awarded me with a fun blog award!  Why she chose me I still don't understand but I love her for it!  Thank you!

I met Erin on a parenting website and have enjoyed getting to know her and her family.  Our oldest kiddos (both boys) are just 2 days apart in age!  We both struggle daily with the special needs (of different kinds) our boys deal with.  I want Erin to know that I admire her and her family!

2)  CrazySocks Crochet

Danyel is one of my crazy crochet friends.  But her blog is not just crochet... although admittedly I probably enjoy that part of it the most.  I'm so happy I've "met" her and can share my obsession of yarn with her.

3)  Life as I know it...

My bestest friend and surrogate sister Tracey.  I don't know that I need to say any more as to why I picked her!  Love ya!!

4)  Madness takes it's toll...

Blythe... she's another I've met through online communities.  She's hilarious, tattooed, pierced, and all around a great friend!

5)  The Teeter Times

Trista has been one of my dearest friends for as long as I can remember!  I have vivid memories of spending the night at her house and playing with her and her siblings for hours!  I love reading about her kooky kids and amazing adventures in couponing!

6)  Apple of My Eye Portraiture

Sonya is one of my major photography inspirations!  She is one of the many that has helped me hone my skills and I aspire to be as amazing as she is!  I can't wait to see all the new stuff she'll post now that she's open for business again!!

7)  Alicia Beckman, Photographer

Alicia is another of my photography pals that I aspire to be like!  Her wedding photography is AMAZING to say the least!  She's fun, kooky, and a name freak too!  I heart Alicia!

8)  Allison Rumble Photography

Seeing a pattern yet??  *snort*  Allison is the baby photographer I aspire to be.  She is truly amazing at capturing children in all their adorableness!

Grandma said 2 weeks without seeing or holding her grandbaby was too long so she came up for a few hours today to play. He LOVED it! ♥

Several friends are doing these challenges where they take a messy area of their house and spend 10 minutes cleaning taking before and after photos. That was my inspiration for today's photos.

Peewee is seriously growing too fast! After a nice big dinner, he easily goes to sleep in his crib with his music machine playing and sleeps at least 5 hours straight. *tear*

Took us over a year but we FINALLY got Midget a new car seat that he'll actually be able to fit in and I won't have to fight to get him out of. I can't wait until he can actually use it once the cast is off! =)

When I went to check on Peewee this morning, he was all snuggled up to his teddy bear. He absolutely LOVES that thing! (It plays sounds and he loves falling asleep with the heartbeat sound on.)

Today we decided to discontinue the Ketogenic diet. After 1 1/2 years, it really hasn't helped Midget much and IMO it's only hurt him. Illness after illness, injury after injury... this kid suffers way too much! :( At least he doesn't mind the seizures any more. (Yeah that would be the tail end of one I walked in on as I was going to put him to bed.)

I told my sister that when Pewee gets upset he'll make this frowny face that reminds me of my niece Jo when you tell her no. He kept giving it to me *until* I picked up the camera. Then he was nothing but cute. Little turd! *snort*

My friend Danyel of CrazySocks Crochet Shop makes these soap savers and I decided tonight to try my hand at making one. I have this awesome bar of olive oil soap for Peewee that likes to stick to the tub and is very hard to pick up when I drop it. Voila! I made a soap saver! Can't wait to actually try it out during his next bath!

Ever since Midget was a baby, cuddling him helps calm me down. The last few weeks have been very hard on all of us and an extremely difficult decision regarding Midget will have to be made this year. I hate the fact that I need to decide so soon.... but for our entire family, I'm gonna have to.

I decided to try Peewee in a forward carry in the Moby wrap one night and we both loved it so much that it's our new favorite carry! *grin*  (Special thanks to Mr Indy for snapping this photo for me!)

Daily Positive Thinking

My friend has decided to reinforce her life with positive thinking.  Great idea!  And not just for her either!  *smirk*  She's going to post little positive thoughts all around her house.  I think it's a cute idea but instead of having post-its everywhere (because lord knows I have enough stuff everywhere *snort*), I figured I'd try to post it in my blog daily.  Well maybe not daily, but as often as I remember to... or as often as I like her daily positive thought!  *giggle*

Today's positive thought:

"When you surrender and let go of the past, you allow yourself to be fully alive in the moment. Letting go of the past means that you can enjoy the dream that is happening right now."

I honestly need to learn to do this because my past (mostly with Midget's sperm donor) comes back and smacks me every so often.  I really, really need to fully let it go but it's so hard when I have to watch my boy suffer and it never. had. to be. this. way!!!!  But it's one day at a time right?  Today is the first day!  One step closer... one step closer... one step closer... that's what I'll keep telling myself.
